Professional Certificate in Electoral Processes
17th - 21st November 2014, London UK
Democratic nations face the perpetual need to evaluate and improve electoral processes, whether through using technology effectively throughout the election cycle or ensuring effective relationships between stakeholders.
This course has been designed in collaboration with world-renowned experts in electoral affairs to present a comprehensive understanding of current issues. It is suitable for all staff working in electoral affairs, whether central electoral commission officials, local officials, or others responsible for electoral management and organisation.
Participants will critically examine existing electoral management processes, the management cycle, electoral bodies and structures, and compare international examples as a means of improving their own knowledge and expertise. They will be encouraged to take practical lessons in the processes of elections back to their own organisations, and study international best practice as it applies to their countries.
This is a specialist training course leading to a Level 5 Chartered Management Institute (CMI) Certificate in Management and Leadership. Upon completion of this week-long course and subsequent written tasks, the successful candidate will be awarded a Level 5 CMI certificate in Management & Leadership showing the CMI units achieved. The CMI is the only chartered professional body in the UK dedicated to promoting the highest standards in management and leadership excellence. The professional qualifications offered by the Institute are internationally recognised and sought after.
